5xxx series representatives: 5052, 5005, 5083, 5A05 series. In my country, the 5000 series aluminum sheet is one of the more mature aluminum sheet series.
The 6xxx series represents: 6061, which mainly contains two elements of magnesium and silicon. Therefore, the advantages of the 4000 series and the 5000 series are concentrated. It is a cold-treated aluminum forging product, which is easy to coat, high in strength, and strong in corrosion resistance. The 6xxx series is currently the most frequently used product on the market.
The 7xxx series represents: 7075, which mainly contains zinc. It also belongs to the aerospace series. It is an aluminum-magnesium-zinc-copper alloy and a heat-treatable alloy. It is often used to manufacture aircraft structures, requiring high-strength structural parts and mold manufacturing with high strength and corrosion resistance.
The more commonly used 8xxx series is 8011, which belongs to other series. Most of the aluminum plates whose main function is to make bottle caps are also used in radiators, and most of them are aluminum foil, which is less used.
